Dancer's Sweet 16

A return client needed a cake for her daughters 16th birthday and she came to me again. I am honored! Thank you Dawn!

Her daughter Jordan is a dancer; tap, ballet, hip hop and jazz... I got busy in my research and design. She wanted a chocolate cake with Twinkie like filling.... December must be a month for chocolate! :)

I did a lot of gumpaste work on this cake... I love working with gumpaste! I also made marshmallow fondant! So far... the best and easiest fondant to work with! I will definately be using this fondant in the future.

Let me know what you think...

Thanks for the support and PLEASE Keep the Cake Orders Coming....

Ugly Sweater Cake

We were invited to an Ugly Sweater Party this year... Everyone was supposed to bring a dish to share... well you know me.... Cake it is... We also brought an unwrapped toy for a child as the fabulous hosts were donating to an organization for needy families... What a great idea! The Schmeid's ROCK!

I marbled my cake and made a twinkie like filling! It was sure yummy! A lot of work... Let me know what you think...

The Ugly Sweater I found at one of my favorite consignment stores....

My sweater was the winner!!! :)

Snowboarder Cake for Claire

A girlfriend from high school asked me to create a cake for her daughter Claire's 10th birthday.... She wanted something to do with sledding or snowboarding... Okay! I can come up with something! White cake with buttercream icing with fondant and gumpaste person... Let me know what you think...
